The 24th international book fair of Algiers
Like every year, a team from the acquisition division attended the international book fair of Algiers in its 24th edition to select the new Algerian books and journals, in accordance with the Foundation acquisition policy that aims to enrich the Maghreb collection of the library.
The outcome of this edition achieve the purchase of 1044 books and 60 journals, in addition to some publications obtained in the framework of the exchange with some Algerian institutions. The total number of books, distributed by language, is as follows: 700 book in Arabic, 294 in French, 33 in Berber and 17 in English. By the way, the Algerian publications included 395 literary works, 23 edited books and 19 translated ones.
